DJ Skaz lights up the kickoff party for UNSCRIPTED: THE RISING ARTIST SHOWCASE during the grand opening party for the Triangle’s newest event space, fyoozRDU. Free entry with pre-registration on eventbrite. $11 at the door. We are a cashless venue. Register early as this kick-off party for our rotating Thursday event will be at capacity. A special invitation is extended to all local musicians, bands, and singers to sign up for future artist showcases.

November 7th, will commence the first set of local artist showcases. Shows will be hosted by Darnell “Showcase” Taylor. Get your complimentary tickets on evenbrite while supplies last.

UNSCRIPTED: THE RISING ARTIST SHOWCASE is an artistic playground for singers, musicians, and artists who are working hard to push forward their brand. We give you a little boost. At fyoozRDU, the area’s top talent take the stage to deliver their best 15 minute showcase of their artistry. All genres are welcome. As the evening progresses, the artist have the opportunity to jam with other artists who performed. Artistic style is delivered without a prepared script and the improvised nature of the collective artistry becomes the show. The audience participates, too! Whether you participate or spectate, you will have the time of your life. The set includes a live house band, a guest DJ, a full backline of instruments, premium audio, stage lighting, a big stage to showcase the Triangle’s top talent, and one heck of an afterparty featuring one of the hottest DJs in the area. Frequently, national recording artists will drop in and may join in on a set or just listen in; however, we do not announce their appearance.

Artists interested in showcasing their talent for future events must pre-register at concierge@fyoozRDU. Drop your name, contact, and social media information. Note: This is a showcase designed to support your artistry, so come prepared to be in full concert mode and promote your showcase to family, friends, and all who support you.
